Two new “feature-packed” versions are being added to the Kodiaq Sport Utility Vehicle line-up by Skoda with immediate effect.
Kodiaq customers can now choose from ‘SE Drive’ and ‘SE L Executive’ models, with prices for the two trim levels starting at £30,415 and £34,275 respectively.
‘SE Drive’ replace the now defunct ‘SE grade’ and adds 18-inch ‘Ascella’ alloy wheels and electrically adjustable, heated and folding door mirrors.
An 8-inch central touchscreen with integrated Wi-Fi and sat-nav come as standard as do front parking sensors and a rear-view parking camera.
Packaged with either five- or seven-seats, those who opt for the latter benefit from a variable boot floor and storage compartments that are incorporated into the boot.
Power comes from a 1.5-litre turbo petrol and a 2-litre, four-cylinder turbo diesel that both produce 148bhp and can be mated to a 7-speed automatic transmission. The oil burner also sends power to both the front and rear axles.
Sold as a strict seven-seater, ‘SL Executive’ replaces ‘SE L’ and adds a number of distinct features, including 19-inch ‘Cursa’ alloys and auto-dimming electric door mirrors.
Leather upholstery makes an appearance inside the cabin, with the electrically adjustable driver’s seat incorporating a memory function.
Three engine choices are available – a 1.5-litre and 2-litre turbo petrol with 148bhp and 188bhp, and a 2-litre diesel that generates either 148bhp or 198bhp. Four-wheel drive is an option on all 2-litre motors.
Meanwhile, Skoda is altering the Kamiq range by adding ‘SE L Executive’, with this superseding the ‘SE L’ trim of before.
The 2022 grade adds more equipment, including 18-inch ‘Vega’ rims, heated front seats, a rear-view camera and front parking sensors.
Propelled by a 1-litre, three-cylinder turbo petrol (108bhp) or a more powerful 1.5-litre, four-cylinder unit that develops 148bhp, both can be specified with a 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox.
Prices for the new Kamiq ‘SE L Executive’ models start at £24,465 and order books are now open.
